Winchester Ammunition Test Fire Block
There are many non-firearm items associated with the Winchester name considered collectable today.
Pictured above is Winchester Ammunition Test Fire Block used to test Winchester High Velocity 50-110 caliber smokeless powder load. Measured in one inch increments of penetration, Winchester used a wooden soft pine block to demonstrate the performance of the various cartridges loads produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company.
